Robert D. Battistella - Visual Artist, Photographer

Ottawa, Ontario

The study and practice of visual art and photography has for me been a combination of self-directed effort, theoretical training, community involvement, and academic coursework. I have always enjoyed exploring different techniques and subjects and have exhibited work through the auspices of local businesses and community organizations. In my work I try to capture natural phenomena that occur in the course of everyday life.

From 1990 until recently, I have exhibited work in group exhibitions as well as solo shows in the Ottawa area.
